Using FireAlpaca, I made use of layers as well as clipping tool and alpha lock to finish this style study.


Reflection

Overall, I found this study to be quite useful in helping me understand the style in Scavenger's Reign. The style itself focussing on having a more detailed background over detailed characters and majority of the detail is created via the line work. This for me, made it pretty difficult to do this style study. I'm not very proficient when it comes to drawing environments and I prefer to have a more simple sketchy style over the detailed line work used in the Scavenger's Reign show. I think I definitely should've spent more time on this piece to get the composition correct as the tree's in my version are way too close together so you don't see much of the background. I also want to give myself more time so I can experiment with adding tone and fog to the images rather than just leaving it at flat colours. This style has taught me quite a lot and has really pulled me out of my comfort zone so I'm happy I got this chance to try draw things that I don't normally draw!

Enforcer Sketch I started off by copying and pasting the thumbnail I chose onto a separate canvas. I then drew out a box in an attempt to fix drawing so it made more sense for the perspective it was in. I then did a sketch over it to add in the enforcer's features and armour. Lighting Pass Since my chosen genre is survival horror, I wanted my enforcer to look quite terrified and have lighting to reflect that mood. I decided to use a flashlight that had been dropped on the floor to illuminate my enforcer. Here is the basic sketch over on how I'd think it'd look. Toolkit - Gantt Chart and Kanban

Gantt Chart This is the plan I made for 3D over my easter break. I had unfortunately spent too much time focusing on other projects and not enough time on this one. I should've made sure I had more time on this project especially because 3D is one of my weaker areas. Here is the Gantt Chart I made for Toolkit. Gantt Chart Updated/ Revised (10/05/25) I was able to keep up with gantt chart up until week 4. I greatly overestimated how long the sculpting process would take and ended spending the week just on that. Luckily, I had just finished one of my other projects so for the final week I was able to put most of my focus onto this project. 3D Toolkit - Renders, Turntable and Unreal Implementation

Turntable Here is a link to my turntable on Sketchfab:  https://skfb.ly/pxnUY Unfortunately, the texture for the mask on the belt just wouldn't work. It wasn't assigning correctly onto the model despite being completely fine in both Maya and Unreal. I was unable to resolve this issue so I left it with a basic white colour. Renders For some reason, during my renders, the textures broke and I wasn't entirely sure how to fix it. I think it might've been to do with the materials of my assets. I tried changing them but it broke the textures even more.  Unreal Implementation I implemented my character into unreal to see how they looked. They had been scaled a little too big, so in Maya I went back and made them smaller.
